First of all though I may have seen the original when young, besides them being lizards, I really don’t remember the storyline. So this is a review based only on the current series with no baggage from the first series.

Overall it seemed well made and is developing into a decent story. Of course there are lots of unanswered questions about what is going on and why. This is all part of the fun of the series. As long as the questions actually get answered.

Elizabeth Mitchell is great, I liked her in Lost also. Morena Baccarin and Laura Vandervoort make sexy villains.

Our View: Looks like it is going to be good.

While three sexy women stars are fun to watch, the show is developing way to slowly.  They still barely control/suspect their powers and the pace of happenings and mystery are becoming a bore.  Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price and Jaime Ray Newman can only make the show go so far without some real story developing soon.

While I love science fiction, a bunch of people stranded on a ship just isn’t coming out as that exciting.  The do or die story structure is rather boring, since there have been more miraculus happenings than not.  One alien entity in six episodes and no alien races?  After six episodes this is really starting to bore me.

Our view:  Nothings going on here.

I am trying to like this show.  It is starting to get better and hit a kind of stride.  Always like Chevy Chase.  Joel McHale is passable.  He is still a little on the annoying side.  Danny Pudi as Abed is unique.  Gillian Jacobs as Britta, well it is eye candy.  The cast is all right, some of them have not really impressed me yet.  Funny, but not laugh out loud funny.

Our View:  Their is still hope.

This film was ok for an action flick.  Not great.  The remorseful assassin is mostly boring.  This one wasn’t even very smart.  Nicholas Cage was not at his best.  The assassinations were sloppy and not well thought out.  Too many witnesses and to much risk taken on egress.  A white man in Bangkok is going to be noticed.  If you can get by this it was average.  The ending sucked.

Our View:  If you’re bored.

Courtney Cox seems to have a winner here.  It started a little slow, but seems to have caught some wind.  Good blend of comedy and eye candy.  I am really starting to like the characters.  Some need a little more definition and purpose, but they are getting there.

I am really trying to like this show, because I like Ed O’Neil from his Married With Children days.  But right now it kind of grates on me.  The daughters husband is too much, I cringe every time he speaks.  The gay brother is not doing anything to me.  I like Ed and Manny, other than that it’s just eye candy.  I hoping this series will hit stride, but it’s not their yet.

Chuck is fast becoming one of my favorite TV shows.  I can’t believe that I missed season 1.  Zackary Levi is great.  Yvonne Strahovski ->AWESOME!  Adam Baldwin puts in a good show.  The support from the Buy More with Joshua Gomez and Julia Ling.

This is like a geeks dream.  This show is a comedy with spy stuff.  Not real deep, but plenty of fun.  Show keeps you interested and has come up with plenty of reasons to dress Yvonne scantily.  I am enjoying the hell out of this series.

Our View:  Don’t miss.

This movies was like a kick in the teeth. It was slow boring and generally not interesting.

Except for the flash of Eva Mendes’s ass it was a total waste of time. Jamie King and Scarlett Johansson were hardly noticeable.

Overall it was a decent movie. You have to get by the fact that they changed the Star Trek universe. Personally the last thing I think we needed was another Star Trek time line.

That being said it was a decent movie. Not great by any extent. Huge plot holes that had to be ignored. Maybe someday Hollywood will get a clue.

Rant: Ok, so first of all you have red matter that can create black holes when released. Why is Nero drilling a whole into the planet? A black hole will work from anywhere close to the planet.

#2. Why do we have so much red matter and why did we put it all on one ship? Not to mention how you would ever contain it or where it came from.

#3. A new underage captain would never be given command of the newest Star Fleet vessel.

#4. How come they are still designing ships without guard rails, where one misstep is death?

I could go on, but I digress.

Zoe Saldana at least provided good eye candy.

Our view: Not bad overall, but not special.
