I’m not real big on Stargate, but this movie was entertaining. Not great, but enough action, mystery and suspense to at least keep your attention.
Our view:
Not much available for Sci-Fi, so it’s worth seeing.

Actually I thought this was pretty good. No it did not make a lot of sense, but it was a good story. Interesting characters. Lot’s of action.

This was not a good movie about rangers. It seemed to reuse footage from Invasion USA. Bad story, bad action.

The Scorpion King 2:Rise of a Warrior (DVD) Nudity: None
It is always a bad sign when the villain is the draw to the movie. They mixed in Greek mythology and it didn’t come off very well. Not horrible, but not good.
Our view:
Don’t mess up the memory of #1 unless you’re really bored. [...]

In The Valley of Elah (DVD) Nudity: Light

A story about screwed up soldiers returning from Iraq. It was really strange. The detective/police investigation was good, but the overall plot was bad. It didn’t leave you satisfied when all was explained. Tommy Lee Jones was good, Charlize Theron wore too many clothes.
