Overall it was a decent movie. You have to get by the fact that they changed the Star Trek universe. Personally the last thing I think we needed was another Star Trek time line.

That being said it was a decent movie. Not great by any extent. Huge plot holes that had to be ignored. Maybe someday Hollywood will get a clue.

Rant: Ok, so first of all you have red matter that can create black holes when released. Why is Nero drilling a whole into the planet? A black hole will work from anywhere close to the planet.

#2. Why do we have so much red matter and why did we put it all on one ship? Not to mention how you would ever contain it or where it came from.

#3. A new underage captain would never be given command of the newest Star Fleet vessel.

#4. How come they are still designing ships without guard rails, where one misstep is death?

I could go on, but I digress.

Zoe Saldana at least provided good eye candy.

Our view: Not bad overall, but not special.

Pretty much a stupid movie of a teen trying to be a gangster. Did not really make too much sense.

Movie Rant: How can you go to a whorehouse and not have any nudity?

This was a bad movie. Even Steven Seagal seemed dubbed in a lot of areas. Bad plot and useless action.

Movie Rant: This is another R rated movie that has a topless bar with no nudity. Give us all a break and put it in. Not to mention that he splits the villains top in half and she continues fighting with out her breasts even showing. Get real.

Miss it.

Well what to say. It wasn’t horrible. It was a pretty basic mob/superhero movie. A little on the weird side. In comics and in movies, anyone can come back from the dead.

Movie Rant: Where does Hollywood find all these gentlemen’s clubs that don’t have any nudity in them? If you want your character to work there, then show us what we want to see.

Watch it if you have lots of time.

This is a movie with too much going on and not enough people we could care about. It is a complex story of betrayal and lust? Anyway the flash of nudity may just be us being kind.

Movie Rant: Again this is a movie about bachelor parties, strippers, hookers and sex. Where is my NUDITY? Put it in. Don’t false advertise. This is the 21^st century. We want it, give it to us. You already have the R rating, go for it dudes.

If you got a lot of time on your hands it is ok.

Toxic (DVD) Nudity: Light

While the makers of this movie may have been able to make sense of this story, a mere mortal watcher could not. Even after the explanation at the end, most of the story doesn’t make any sense.

While watching it, it appears to be an action/horror type movie and it seems that the makers can’t decide what it is. In the end it doesn’t work as anything.

Movie Rant: I hate movies that put themselves in nudity heavy environments and then show no nudity. A large portion of this movie is in a titty bar and a whorehouse. But no nudity is show until near the end, when they put in several flashes that you almost have to watch in slow motion to see. If you are filming in a titty bar, then we better be seeing mega tits.

Our view:

Waste of time.
